From the warehouse to the top of the board
Ron didn't start out in pest control. He was working in a warehouse, then driving delivery routes, when his brother — working at Terminix at the time — told him what the trade actually looked like from the inside. Ron decided to take a chance on it.
That chance turned into 18 years in the industry, including stretches at Terminix and Home Paramount before he ever thought about going out on his own. And everywhere he's gone, he's risen to the top of it. In Miami, Florida, he was one of the top-performing technicians in the entire market. The push to go out on his own finally came while he was working down there — customers he served kept telling him the same thing: he was too good at this not to be doing it for himself. That pattern held at his last company, Evergreen, too, where he consistently ranked in the top 4 or 5 technicians nationally — out of the entire company. That's when he knew.
The hardest part of actually starting wasn't the pest control — it was the money and the hustle of finding those first clients. His wife stood behind him early, and a couple of coworkers who'd seen what independent techs could make gave him the push he needed to finally do it.
What "Protecting What Matters" actually means
Ask Ron what the company's name really means, and he doesn't talk about bugs first — he talks about the home. Pests and vermin can damage a house in ways people don't fully understand until the damage is already done. His job, as he puts it, is simple: when someone has a problem, he comes out and takes care of what needs to be taken care of. No questions asked.
What he says sets him apart isn't a sales pitch — it's that he goes the extra mile when other companies stop short. Thorough work, every time, not just enough to get to the next job.
Hampton Roads is home, not an assignment
Ron grew up in Suffolk and has lived in Chesapeake and Portsmouth too — this isn't a franchise territory assigned to him, it's literally where he's from. He knows these neighborhoods, these streets, these houses, because he's lived in them.
That local instinct shows up in small ways — like noticing that his own neighborhood's cat population handles some of the rodent pressure naturally, but people still want a real professional taking care of the actual problem, not leaving it to chance.
Not a one-man show wearing a company name
757 Pest Solutions is genuinely a family operation, built by people who know each other and trust each other.

When Ron shows up at your door
- On time. Every time.
- He'll ask real questions — not a script, an actual conversation about what's actually going on in your home.
- He won't leave until it's handled. Ron describes himself as tenacious — once he's on a job, he doesn't stop until it's actually solved.
- He takes pride in the work itself, not just getting through the appointment.
Built to grow, built to last
Ron's goal isn't modest: he wants 757 Pest Solutions to become one of the top pest control companies in Hampton Roads, built into a multimillion-dollar business. But ask him what he's proud of right now, this early, and it's simpler than that — just having had the nerve to actually go out and build something of his own.
